For a long time, we knew what yoga was.
Classes. Studios. Retreats.
Leggings. Mats. OMs at the end of class.
But everything has shifted.
Many yoga studios have shut their doors and some will never reopen.
So is the future of yoga bleak?
I do not believe so.
Lots of people are now doing yoga from their lounges and bedrooms.
YouTube’s “Yoga with Adriene” only grows in popularity.
The increasing availability of yoga online has INCREASED accessibility.
People are coming to my weekly classes who would never have been able to get to classes before.
Yoga students don’t have to drive out through the cold, dark January evenings to get to class.
Yoga teacher trainees don’t have to get on a plane or a train or a boat to come and work with me.
One day, we will do the yoga again in person.
BUT the online yoga isn’t going away: it is ALSO here to stay.
It’s actually an exciting time to be a yoga teacher, there’s been so much change this last year.
And despite the corona-chaos of 2020/2021 it’s a great time to commit to doing even more yoga and taking a Yoga Teacher Training.
Because the local and non-local communities around you need the yoga more than ever.
My Inspiratrix Yoga Teacher Training begins in September
ACCREDITED: 200-hour course recognised by Yoga Alliance Professionals
COVID-PROOF: this training will run, and you will be able to complete it, whether you are present in-person or online
SUPPORTIVE: mentoring, feedback and encouragement from Claire, including personal tutorials
DEEP KNOWLEDGE: with Yoga Philosophy specialist Craig Nadashakti Norris and Anatomy geek Adrian Kingsley-Hughes
INTEGRATE: over the 8 months of this course you’ll have weekly sessions on Tuesday evenings and four intensive 4-day modules
What previous participants say:

“I can highly recommend the course. Claire is lovely, approachable, and so knowledgeable in so many areas.” – Mel
“Thanks to Claire for passing on her skills, adapting the course to meet the demands of the changing situations and for keeping us all motivated.” – Denise
This course is for you if you want to:
Teach yoga in a safe and inclusive way
Build confidence through developing skills from day one of the course
Share more yoga in your community (you could even start teaching before the course ends)
Have the flexibility of attending either in-person or online, or a mixture of both
This course isn’t suitable if:
You just want to do punishingly hard yoga and handstands
You have no interest in teaching, but just want to develop your yoga practice (book in for private lessons with me instead)
You don’t know if you’ll be able to make the sessions because of life/work/childcare. This is a live course, not just a bunch of recordings and you DO need to show up
You are not regularly attending yoga classes or doing self-practice
I am only taking on 12 people for my next training programme.
I’m choosing to limit the number of participants because I don’t want this to be an impersonal online course with hundreds of other participants, where no one cares if you pass or fail.
In this programme you get individual support from me and my co-teachers.
So you can become a confident, authentic and inclusive yoga teachers in under 8 months: whether you are teaching in-person or online.
