1. PERFECTIONISM – is the enemy of practice.
You don’t have to do it perfect.
You don’t have to fit yourself into a particular mould or shape.
Exploring the glory of your own imperfection is its own perfection.
2. NOT SHOWING UP – or ever stepping onto the yoga mat.
Yoga practice works best as a regular practice.
No, you don’t have to do it seven days a week; I’m consistently amazed by how much benefit people get from doing a mere one hour a week.
But showing up and practicing regularly is the way to build the strength and reduce the stress.
Just get started. Book yourself in for a class this week.
3. NOT ASKING FOR HELP – for whatever reason.
Yes you can practice yoga on your own from YouTubes.
That might work out well, it might not.
But if you work with the same teacher regularly, you’ll get support in customising and building your yoga practice.
In working with whatever injuries and weaknesses you have going on right now.
So when you show up to your classes, don’t be shy about asking us for help.
That’s what we are there for.
We created out our “All the Yogas” monthly membership to support people in doing regular yoga practice.
We help ordinary people from Anglesey – and far beyond – improve their strength and flexibility and learn tools to better manage anxiety and stress.
