DO YOU FEEL OVERWHELMED RIGHT NOW?
Unless you live alone on a desert island and don’t have the internet, you’ll have experienced seismic shifts in your life these last few weeks.
Going anywhere has been curtailed; connections we took for granted are inaccessible; the tolerable becomes intolerable; things that were solid have crumbled.
It’s just too much. There’s so much to adapt to. There’s a lot to process.
But whether your experience of overwhelm feels like too much emotion, or numbness, there are practices that can help.
Right now, several times a day, I remind myself to breathe. Breathe big, breathe steady, breathe deep. Stay present through the inhale, stay present through the exhale.
When I’m thinking and worrying, my breath often becomes shallow. When I breathe I can begin to feel, and process, the underlying feelings. Of all the practices I have learnt in the last few decades, this is one of the most helpful.
So you can get some regular help with this, I set up the “ALL YOU CAN EAT YOGA SUBSCRIPTION”. All the classes centre on the breath, each one of them. You get six live virtual classes a week. Plus a Virtual Yoga Vault of prerecorded classes.

PS If you’re needing some yoga right now, here’s a prerecorded class that got out into the wild… all about the breath
