☁️ You don’t have to be good at yoga to do yoga. You don’t have to be flexible to do yoga. You don’t have to be healed or perfect or lycra-clad or in a good mood today.
? Yoga is waiting for you, wherever you’re at. And you can do it your way. You can modify poses. You’re the one breathing and moving – and you get to chose and explore how to move your body through space.
⛅️ I have spent the last eight years learning a system called “Forrest Yoga” (so called because it was created by a human being called Ana Forrest, no actual trees involved).
?F requently classes are sweaty and challenging. Which isn’t so much my thing… so I tend to teach the yogas in a gentler way.
☀️ One of the classic Forrest Yoga techniques is to pick a spot in the body that needs healing and to spend the whole class focusing on that.
? The class below – that went live today on YouTube – encourages you to chose an area someone along the spine, then move that area, connect to it and learn about it.
? Short on time today? This class is only 50 minutes long. Carve out the time sometime this weekend.
? Try it and let me know if you felt 10% better after, by posting a comment on the YouTube video. Enjoy!
? PS I’m running a competition between now and 29th July to win a place at my Online Mini-Retreat day on 1st August 2020…. Every comment left on one of my YouTube yoga videos will get you an entry into the draw.
