Two and a half hour Restorative Yoga workshop with Claire Mace on Sunday 6th May 2018 2-4.30pm, exploring states of deep relaxation through Relax and Renew yoga postures and breathing techniques.

Restorative yoga is all about learning to relax and rest deeply and completely.  When we move out of a stressed state and relax deeply, all the organs in the body work better and the body’s natural healing mechanisms are activated.

It has been measured that the following outcomes improve: reduction of blood pressure, serum triglycerides and blood sugar levels in the blood, increase of the “good cholesterol” levels, as well as improvement in digestion, fertility, elimination, the reduction of muscle tension, insomnia and general fatigue.

Restorative yoga is more passive than my regular classes: you will hold poses for longer and explore more breathing and relaxing techniques.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and improvers.

Please bring the following with you:

  • A yoga mat (if you have one)
  • Two large blankets
  • A cushion
  • Water bottle

We will be working in my home yoga studio space in Llanfachraeth which holds a maximum of 10 people.
